The Petropolis Academy of Grooming has been training groomers since 1993, and is certified to operate by the Missouri Coordinating Board of Higher Education. We are also approved as an International Society of Canine Cosmetologists Certified Pet Styling School.

The objective of our Pet Grooming School is to create an environment that is conducive to learning the art of professional pet grooming. Through use of a balanced mixture of hands on training, lecture and practical experience students will have the opportunity to gain the skill and confidence to become successful pet stylists.

We offer a variety of courses to certify you as a professional groomer, as well as teach you the skills necessary to open your own grooming salon. Courses include: Our 28 Week Entrepreneurship program (16 weeks training, and 12 weeks grooming), our 24 Week Entrepreneurship program (12-16 weeks training, and 8-12 weeks grooming), our 20 Week Entrepreneurship program (12 weeks training, and 8 weeks grooming), our 12 Week Basic Groomer program, our 8 Week Basic Groomer program, our 4 Week Groomer Plus program and our 14 day Bather/ Brusher program.
